SHOCKED!

23 Feb which was on Monday was my medical checkup date.

This year is the time when i'll be going in National Service (NS), so this checkup is to determine where i stand.
I woke up like SERIOUSLY 5am in the morning hoping i wont be late for the checkup.
Nicely, i reached at abt 7.55am (Laughs)

Let me explain this in sequence: -

1. Photo-taking with Uniform (UGLY hair lah.. thanks to that man)
2. Resubmit my document online with a SUPER-friendly madam who scared me off.
3. Queue to pass them my pink form.
4. Waited almost 10mins for my name to collect my file for screening.
5. The 1st pit stop was the Urine test. (I realised how stupid guys can be.. i'll explain later)
6. Next was the Blood Taking corner. (OMG!! scary needle)
7. Now i need to go to Hearing Aid room. (I feel stupid)
8. Eye Test (I AM COLOURBLIND)
9. The Dental Check. (Oh dear.. my poor gum!)
10. X-RAY. (Man! That man is so gay.. he looked at my topless body like shit!)
11. ECG. (Pulse checking with cute guy beside me =)
12. The CORK-Staring check. (Ahh..)

Finally its done. Now the IQ test. Its stupid and dumb plus i hate MATHS! WHAT the heck.. i did anyhow after some time. Its making me sleepy and lertagic. Oh ya.. why guys are stupid?? THEY DONT READ INSTRUCTION.. like what? like this built, tanned, chinese guy who went out with his urine and let the officer see.. how DUMB?! tsk tsk.. For nuts, i think i'm actually quite normal and smart.

Happy Saint Valentine's Day

The Early Medieval acta of either Saint Valentine were excerpted by Bede and briefly expounded in Legenda Aurea. According to that version, St Valentine was persecuted as a Christian and interrogated by Roman Emperor Claudius II in person. Claudius was impressed by Valentine and had a discussion with him, attempting to get him to convert to Roman paganism in order to save his life. Valentine refused and tried to convert Claudius to Christianity instead. Because of this, he was executed. Before his execution, he is reported to have performed a miracle by healing the blind daughter of his jailer.

Legenda Aurea still providing no connections whatsoever with sentimental love, appropriate lore has been embroidered in modern times to portray Valentine as a priest who refused an unattested law attributed to Roman Emperor Claudius II, allegedly ordering that young men remain single. The Emperor supposedly did this to grow his army, believing that married men did not make for good soldiers. The priest Valentine, however, secretly performed marriage ceremonies for young men. When Claudius found out about this, he had Valentine arrested and thrown in jail. In an embellishment to The Golden Legend, on the evening before Valentine was to be executed, he wrote the first "valentine" himself, addressed to a young girl variously identified as his beloved, as the jailer's daughter whom he had befriended and healed, or both.

It was a note that read "From your Valentine."

Chocolate Oreo Truffles

For my Valentine

For this year Valentine

i've decided to try to make something special for that special someone.

I'd learnt this from a guy and i hope it succeed! Haha!

Its quite easy and simple to make.

let's check out what's the ingredients needed !

Box of OREO cookies (36 cookies)

1/3 of Cream Cheese

Baking Chocolate

Chocolate Powder/Crushed Almonds/Chocolate Rice (Optional)

Baking Chocolate =)

OREO cookies =)

Australian Natural Cream Cheese =)

or Phi.. something cream cheese also can do!

crushed the Oreo cookies into fine powder form, using a food processor.

After crushing & destroying the Oreos,

add in the 1/3 of the cream cheese with the crushed Oreos.

MIX !

Mix !

Mix !

It will turn to be like a dough.

A BIG black dough !! haha!

Remember to mix well!

Take a pinch of it,

roll it into a ball with your hands

almost the size of a ping-pong ball !

Refrigerate it for 30mins.

While waiting, get the chocolate coating ready.

Melt the baking chocolate over a bowl.

Remember DO NOT let water or steam entering the chocolate!

Stir it till evenly melted =)

Roll the ball of oreo into the bowl of melted chocolate

and leave it to harden.

(During this process, you can roll the coated ball onto choco powder/crushed almond/choco rice for a better look )

Finally CHILL it and its good to go!

I AM SICK!

Yes yes.. After so much time of my life. I dont fall sick so often. Surprisingly i am sick now. My body temp shoot up to 41C OMG! Thats new.
I felt so feverish yesterday night, shivering without fan and i felt like fainting~
It must be the weather nowadays.. strong wind, then hot.. then rain/sun.. all into one!
so annoying! By the way.. i had an interesting weekends. It was good i suppose.
Friday had 'AYAM PENYET' with Linda, Nelly & Mallory. So good NO QUEUE!! We went shopping AGAIN.. gotten my 'MEN FOLIO' mag and some papers =)
Saturday went to the National library.. research & research till im losing my mind.
I was looking thru all young designers that matches my work that i wish to do. The market sector and blah blah.. I HAD MY COLOUR PALETTE TOO! A beautiful Japanese painting.
The colours that im gonna use are: Dirty blue, black, grey, white, offwhite. Something like that =)

The cutting gonna be ASYMETRICAL cut with drapes & loose fit. Can be worn in different ways.
haha! so EXCITING!
But i havent thot of my theme yet.. maybe GEOMETRICAL. Back to basic.. =)

Sunday i went to 'BAI NIAN' at Steph's place. We played Majong, eat Char Siew Croissant, finished a whole container of PISTACIOS, pineapple tarts from SURABAYA! Suji from IPOH!
